Henderson Meat Processing does not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information is used only to deliver the order-related text messages you opted in to receive and to operate your customer account.

Henderson Meat Processing Order Notifications.

How customers opt in

  • Checking the SMS consent box on our online booking form at henderson-meat.com/book before submitting a drop-off appointment.
  • Checking the SMS consent box on our customer sign-in page at henderson-meat.com/phone-login before a one-time sign-in code is sent.
  • Giving verbal consent over the phone or at the counter, which a staff member records in our system after reading the verbal opt-in script below.

Consent is required and is not a condition of purchase.

Verbal opt-in script

When a customer calls the shop or visits the counter, a Henderson Meat Processing staff member reads the following script before adding the customer's phone number to our SMS program:

"Henderson Meat Processing would like to text you order updates — appointment confirmations, drop-off and ready-for-pickup notices, cut-sheet links, and after-hours pickup codes. Message frequency varies by order, typically 3–8 messages per order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Do you consent to receive these texts at this number?"

The phone number is only added to the SMS program after the customer answers "yes." Each verbal consent is logged in our system with the staff member's name, the date and time the consent was given, and the phone number the customer authorized.

What messages we send

Transactional messages tied to your order and account, including:

  • One-time sign-in codes for your customer account.
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • Drop-off confirmations.
  • Processing status updates and cut-sheet links.
  • After-hours pickup codes.
  • Ready-for-pickup and invoice notifications.

Message frequency

Varies by order; typically 3–8 messages per order.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may charge for messages you send or receive.

STOP and HELP

  • Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop further messages from this program.
  • Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us using the information below.

Supported carriers

Messages are sent through major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
